Graphic Design Manager

NDA Group is currently seeking a Graphic Design Manager. The position requires the design manager to bridge the relationship between creative staff and management. The manager will work closely with the Marketing & Communications department to oversee the organization of strategic design projects.

Job Description includes, but is not limited to:

  • Manage the corporate image using the VI (Visual Identity) System of NDA

  • Provide graphic design solutions both internally and for clients’ use

  • Collaborate closely with other designers to create project presentation materials (Pamphlets, PPT, etc.)

  • Strong PPT design ability

  • Manage Graphic Design Team

Job Requirements:

  • At least 5 years working experience in Graphic Design field.

  • Excellent digital media and social media experience.

  • Great interest in architectural design, have creative ideas and a good ability of the graphic basic skill

  • Handle graphic documents, intensify the corporate image

  • Skills of user interface and website design

  • Fluent in relevant design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or 3DSmax will be a plus

  • Be able to understand the abilities of the creative staff and provide advise if technological issues arise.

  • Capable of scheduling and budgeting when multiple projects are occurring at once

  • PC experience preferred

  • Take charge of copywriting, editing and design of press releases , newsletters, blogs, websites, catalogues and brochures

  • Strong Responsibility & Teamwork spirit

  • Creative and well-organized

  • Sufficiently self-organized to efficiently handle multiple tasks

  • Website design and maintenance

  • Native Chinese speaker, plus fluent in English both literally and orally

Project Manager & Sr. Architect

Job Responsibility:

  • Hands-on Design.

  • Help resolve complex technical/design issues for architecture projects.

  • Coordinate among project stakeholders.

  • Make and track project schedules.

  • Control design direction and presentation strategy for architecture projects.

  • Coach new team members.

  • Cooperate with Project Manager and account manager during design process.

  • Understand client requirements and brief the team accordingly.

  • Communicate effectively design concept and strategies for client presentations and daily client interaction.

  • Responsible for the management and operation of the project, establish and implement project management, quality control system;

  • Assist CEO to set up related policy and system.

  • Follow up the project and control the progress of the project. Solve the problems in a timely manner and eliminate the barriers in the project.

  • Predict the risk of the project budget and cost to ensure the project budget and cost are under control.

  • Deal with the confirmation during the different project stages, assist commercial department for the collection work and support to related business matters.

  • Conduct the performance management and appraisal for the project team.

  • Cooperate with HR Department to complete the recruiting and team construction.

  • Coordinates with design department and business department to set up the design proposal.

  • Finish other work as management team‘s requirement.

 

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field required.

  • Ten years’ experience as a professional architect required, including at least three years as a project Architect.

  • Three years minimum previous supervisory and personnel management required.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English and Chinese; both verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

  • Ability to complete tasks with high degree of accuracy and with strong attention to detail.

  • Proficiencies with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, CAD, Acrobat, MS-Project.

  • Experience with relevant government permit agencies

  • Advanced technical ability and good know how of Chinese rules and regulations

  • Experience producing construction drawing sets

  • AutoCAD proficient, Revit, Sketchup, indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, office

  • Experience in foreign company preferred

  • Level 1 PRC registered architect preferred
