Design Inspired by Nature and Local Heritage
NDA Group serves as the project's architectural, landscape, and interior design consultant. The goal is creating a hotel and convention complex with a strong, distinctive identity. The design harmonizes with the local context while reflecting Tay Ninh's growing importance in the Southwest region's tourism and service network.
The Lap Van Concept
The design draws inspiration from Lap Van (Kasagumo), a rare cloud phenomenon. These clouds form over high mountain peaks and are often seen atop Ba Den Mountain under specific conditions. Local people describe it as clouds crowning the mountain. This symbolic reference represents harmony between nature, geography, and spiritual values. The design translates this into contemporary, refined architectural language.
The complex features a clear vertical hierarchy. The convention center occupies the lower levels. The hotel tower rises behind it. This composition creates strong visual impact from street level. It emphasizes the convention center's role as a major public space while allowing the hotel to form a recognizable skyline presence.
The design also draws from Binh Thanh Ancient Tower, a heritage site linked to the Óc Eo culture. This connection adds historical depth and reinforces the project's sustainable, long-term approach.
